HOW IT WORKS

Egg Hunts
For All Ages

Every child gets to participate in an egg hunt.

We have separate fields for each age group, to ensure it’s enjoyable for everyone. Egg hunts start about every 10 minutes. For parents with children of different ages, you will need to accompany each child in the appropriate field.

EGG HUNT AGE CATEGORIES

  • 1-2 (these eggs contain toys instead of candy)

  • 3-4

  • 5-7

  • 8-10

  • Plus a lane specifically for children with disabilities

The Top 5 Things You Need to Know

Here are The Top 5 Things You Need to Know to ensure you have a fantastic experience with your kids!

TIMES

The Philly Egg Hunt starts at 10:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM. Activities will begin to close down and lines will be capped at 12:30 PM. We recommend arriving on time and no later than 11:30 PM to ensure you have time to enjoy the activities.

PARKING

There is free street parking around Gorgas Park and a free parking lot at the adjacent Roxborough High School. There’s also a SEPTA stop in front of the park. We recommend planning some extra time to arrive.

ARRIVAL

Please enter through one of our designated entrances around the perimeter of the park - please look for the tents. We’ll provide bags for collecting eggs for everyone, but your kids are welcome to bring their own.

ACTIVITIES

All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in activities. All activities are FREE, except for pony rides, which are $5/cash only. Each activity has a designated line entrance, please look for the signs.

WILL THERE BE ANYTHING ELSE?

We’ll provide plenty of fun! There will not be food at the Philly Egg Hunt. You are welcome to bring snacks with you. And there are lots of great places to grab lunch nearby.

There are limited bathroom facilities available at the park, so please plan accordingly.

Just in case, we have a designated area to reunite families if any parents happen to get lost. :) We will also have Red Cross first aid on site.

And everywhere you go, you’ll see the smiling faces of our Team ready to help your family have a great experience!
